About the Pono Wellness Spa
Pono Wellness Spa was conceived from trips to various spas and health centers around the country near and far. We wanted to create a facility that brought high-quality massage, infrared saunas and deep herbal soaking tubs together. These three are a trifecta of health, relaxation and Pono. Pono means harmony, balance & wellbeing in Hawaiian. It is also used for righteousness or doing right. Our goal is to facilitate the essence of Pono in clients. We look forward to sharing Pono with our community.

Bonni has been practicing massage since 2011. Graduated from National Holistic Institute College of Massage in 2011 the foundation program. Completed the Advanced NeuroMuscular program in 2013. I’ve continued to train in Cranio Sacral Therapy, Lomi Lomi Traditional Hawaiian Massage, Chikly Lymphatic Massage, Dermoneuro Modulation, Burn Scar Therapy, Oncology Massage, Reiki and other modalities. I have worked in Exclusive Resort Spas (7 years), Chiropractor offices (6 years) and my own practice (5 years). My first training in massage was from Equissage in Virginia in 2004 having a successful part time practice in Equine Massage for 10+ years.
I focus on the root cause of pain or dysfunction in my clients. Working with the body to facilitate change and improve function of the soft tissue, helping to reduce pain and tension. I assist my clients by instructing them in ways they can improve their health through self care with exercises and health practices. I enjoy working with clients with more complex health issues and helping them live a more healthful vital life through massage and other styles of body work. Finding massage as a second career later in life, I was blessed to discover my true calling. I love what I do and the joy it brings me to impact a better quality of life for my clients, I have the best job in the world!
